ArcelorMittal Kent Wire has the ability to transport cargos directly by rail from its location in Chatham Docks. This option not only saves vast amounts of time but with lorries limited to 44 tonnes it also increases the capacity of shipments and keeps large volumes of traffic off of the roads.

The Company also has the option to export its product overseas through the use of its quayside. This facility has been used to export to countries such as Ireland and Norway in the past and is now being used by third parties through the companys Total Ship Services operations.
